This ad is for a free concert in Monroe Park, near VCU, April 5, 1970, from noon 'till dusk. I assume that the Family Dog listed here was the "Family Dog Productions" that put on concerts in San Francisco and in California. The bands listed here include Zion Crossroads, Past Existence, and Blue Al Furd. I would love to learn more about these bands - were they local or from California?.March 22, 2008

I believe this park concert was the one where several people climbed the fountain and it fell over, killing one.

Every Family Dog poster has their logo placed someplace in the artwork. I don't see it. I think this Family Dog was a band.
